Getting Ready

This was from last year but I love the picture so much - this is what happens when babies are left at grandma's house (a little hair styling while brushing your teeth)

Regrouping and spending time with this little man before I start my new job. I think I might have forgotten how to do anything that doesn't involve loving on this little boy so we'll see how th job goes :)

How am I ever going to be able to leave this little face for 8 hours a day! Lots of prayers please!

It has been CRAZY around here

I got laid off in late March after my boss left the company and decided instead of looking for work I was going to stay home with Sammy for a couple months and it's been the BEST thing ever!

Now I'm still trying to figure out how stay-at-home moms of more then one kid do it, my little man has been exhasting (but oh how I love having him all day long).

Visits to the zoo, children's museum, feeding the ducks, horseback riding, swimming lessons, gym class, arts and crafts, visits to the park and dancing in the kitchen while making breakfast. Doesn't get much better then that.

Ideas for Sammy's Big Boy Room

I'm thinking grey, yellow and orange with some black (the colors come from the letterpress rug from CB2). Still not sure about which pillows and might need somet accessories to make the room a bit more boy. The yellow print is actually going to say "keep calm and play on"

Poor Sick Boy

They miss diagnosed him and so the antibiotics did almost nothing so now we are on the king of all antibiotics and waiting for his culture results to come in.

Poor Bug, I wish I could just be sick in your place.

First Professional Haircut

He loved the fire engine and was fine until she put the cover on him and then well you can see for yourself in the pictures. The bucket of cars and animals kept him entertained but he was still pretty grumpy afterwards.

He looks like such a big boy, not sure if I'm really liking the really short hair but it does make his 90 percential head look much smaller but I think shorter hair means he's going to need product to keep it in place and I'm not a big fan of that because I heard it can mess up the texture of a toddlers hair (and he's got such good hair).

I can't believe how grown-up he looks, oh baby please stop growing I can't handle you getting older and not being my baby!

Snow Day!

The first time Sammy got to play in the snow and he loved it! He loved it so much he threw a fit when we had to come inside (haha I even love his little tanturms)

Christmas

Sammy was a bit spoiled this year! He got 2 cars (one motorized), tons of trains and cars, a lawn mower, tools, balls, a huge slide and so much more. Below are just a few pictures...
