I'm back and Sammy is officially 3 years old!

It's been a crazy summer but I'm now back to blogging now that Sammy's 3rd birthday party is done and I'm not running around like a crazy person. This year he wanted an animal party so we had an animals on parade rainbow party and it was a big hit! He's already asking for a superhero party for next year, well at least that gives me a year to plan :)

2.5 years later and I still can't believe how much I love this boy! I love you Sammy Boy, more then I ever thought I could!

Batman!

Sometimes it rains here - a lot! and so we just need to have a party and try to forget the fact that we can't go outside to play. Here is to random Batman parties setup while my love is sleeping. Totally worth it when he came out and saw it and screamed. PARTY TIME! YAYYYYYY!

Now if you'll just sleep through the night I might have the energy to throw you more parties - you hear my Sammy?

Sometimes pooing in your underwear while potty training leads to this and to be honest I love it, the dancing and singing in the shower not the poop

The light is on outside!

We really haven't been getting enough sun out here. You know it's bad with your 2 year old forgets it's call sunshine and instead wakes you up telling you "mommy light is on outside!"

But when it is sunny we sure do make sure to soak it up as much as we can!

Daddy's back! Seriously they are traitors, I'm sure daddy forbade me in getting Dozer (see how well that worked) and I'm still trying to lose the baby weight and have a scar from Sammy's birth and haven't slept more then 4 hours a night for the past 2 years (yes I'm bitter and feel they should only love me!)

Sammy is a BADDDDDDDDD sleeper so when this happens at nap time I swear the heavens open up and the angels sing!

Serious catching up to do - Haircut

Let's start backwards and go with Sammy's haircut that he received a few days ago. Oh it was traumatic for momma to say the least an not because of any other reason then the fact that it is a BAD haircut. The kid came out of the salon looking like a small male version of Kate Gosslin.

The funny thing is that I did so much research to find the person place and stylist but of course Sammy's got Asian hair and it's not easy to cut because to short it sticks up but the gal didn't listen and it was to late after the first cut because it was short and no way to make his hair look even without cutting it all short.

The good thing is his hair grows really quickly (or it did before this haircut but we'll see) and he didn't have a screaming fit at this salon, seriously the last time we got his hair cut he had such a fit that I had to hold him because they had already started cutting his hair. The poor boy was so traumatized that this time he asked the stylist "no hurt me pease" oh my poor boy I'm sorry I laughed when you said that and of course had to explain quickly what happened last time lease CPS was called :)

Here he is with tons of product in his hair to keep it down (at least he didn't purposely get this hair cut like Kate Gosslin did, because no one looks goo in it)

Day 3 of snowstorm 2012. Today I let Dozer out in the front yard with us and he and Sammy played snowball catch, they both loved it. I felt bad for Kyah who is the worst listener when she's overly excited and so I let her out today play in the front yard too. BAD idea!

I'm sure our neighbors now think I'm crazy - just picture me running with a toddler after a German Shepherd screaming "come Kyah come back now!!!!" with a pitbull mix chasing after all of us! Yep that would be the day I had today, we all went inside shortly after that mess to keep momma's embarrassment to a minimum. Oh the joys of having a bad dog, lucky for her I keep all my animals for life and she is a cuddler (her only saving grace at times).

We got even more snow, about 3 more inches to add to our already 6 inches. Lots of snow = happy Sammy!
