First Kiss
Such a cute picture of my little girl and her first kiss, with one very happy bulldog (as you can tell by the 2nd photo that kiss made his day).

Thanksgiving is just around the corner

I'm already thinking about everything I've got to get and do to get ready to host it at my house this year. I'm thinking that these salad plates from Pottery Barn with my white dinner plates would be perfect to give my table setting a bit of color and pop without going overboard.
I'm also loving the white pumpkin soup tureen and bowls at William Sonoma Home. It's also something I could used for dinner parties and even for Christmas dinner. I love that the pumpkins are white because that means I can use them for other events and go with different color schemes.

Halloween Costumes
This year I decided that everyone in the house needs costumes for Halloween, that means the dogs too. I was going to at first make Kyah a bubble bee and Dozer a bat but now I'm thinking Kyah is going to be the bat and Dozer a hotdog.
Isn't that the saddest looking bubble bee you have ever seen? I think the hotdog is getting a little chunky, I've got to get people to stop giving him so many treats, even when he gives them his cute pleading face.

Sheep Herding
We've now been down to Ewetopia in Roy twice with the dogs for sheep herding lessons. We aren't expecting the dog to be herding dogs or to win any competitions, it's just something they seem to enjoy and it gets them mentally and physically exhausted. Tired puppies of course are always a good thing.
This last Saturday when we went down the dogs where controlled by the handler using he sheep rod so it was a bit more for them to process, however they both did great.
Dozer has a strong presence about him so he did not have to be right by the sheep in order to keep them close to the handler. Kyah on the other hand is still all puppy and not sure of herself yet so she went crazy and charged the sheep head on, though getting wacked on the head caused her to back off a little.

I'm thinking it is time for another road trip
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm really looking forward to some snow. I didn't get to do much skiing last year so I can't wait to get up to the mountains and gets some runs in.
Dozer of course loves the snow too so we take him on some of the back runs and let him run down the hill, not sure how Kyah is going to react to snow but if she's anything like her brother than she'll love it.
